This Is My Story Of Ireland
This show has evolved all of my life - I'm Irish!
UPDATE !!!!! As of February 24, 2004 this show has the punch of a full band. I've prerecorded drums, bass, keyboards, and background guitar solos, plus added The Irish Washerwoman. Close your eyes and you'll hear four more of me. I just can't play it all live!
This show takes a personal look at my life and heritage. My mother and father divorced when I was a baby. By the time I found my biological family in 1990, my father had died fifteen years earlier. I did, however, find I had several more brothers and sisters I never knew about before. Little surprises in life. I give the details of finding my family before singing Danny Boy, the song my father remembered me by after the divorce. I go to his grave every year on St. Patrick's Day, or as close to it as possible, and I sing that song. You'll also learn about the history of Ireland, all you'll every want to know about St. Patrick, and hear some Irish humor and songs that will leave you smiling. The songs here come from my two Irish albums, This Is My Story Of Ireland and I Love Life Being An Irishman.
