This Show Has Evolved Since 1981

  UPDATE !!!!! As of January, 2004 this show has the punch of a full band. I've prerecorded drums, bass, Hawaiian Guitar and background guitar solos. Close your eyes and you'll hear four more of me. I just can't play it all live!     

Hawaii...Beautiful Islands and Beautiful Music. Putting these two together makes for a great time. My first visit to the islands was in 1981, which is when I took mauka (up the mountain) from Milolii, recalling all I had experienced and wrote Paradise. On my second venture in 1984, I wrote I'm Thinking Of You In Hawaii for my wife who was not with on this trip. Both songs are on my  interest in the music, culture, sights and sounds. Just before departing I sat on a lanai (porch), The First Step Toward Living album. Throughout the program you'll hear about the history of the islands plus stories, some funny and some serious. At one point I'll translate your first name into Hawaiian. I Know the language so well I have my book to help. Don't worry, if your name is not in my book I'll make it up and you'll never know the difference, unless you speak Hawaiian! Near the end I'll bring a few men and women up to participate. The ladies will learn how to hula (comedy) and the men will learn to sing in Hawaiian (even more comedy.) Wear your muu muu's and aloha shirts  Following is a complete song list.
