Nathaniel Adams Coles, yes Coles with an S, was born March 17, 1919 in Montgomery, Alabama. His father, the Reverend Edward James Coles, moved the family to the Chicago area when Nat was only four years old. Harry Lillis Crosby, Was born May 3, 1903. in Tacoma, Washington. His family then moved to Spokane where he began playing drums in high school....
